A Legacy in Motion: From 24 Years of Teaching to a Lifetime of Giving
After 24 years of teaching and inspiring, we are entering a New Chapter for the children of Singapore and the rest of Southeast Asia. Picture the magic of Teacher Emil and Stage for Kids inspiring children everywhere—we can make that happen, and we want your partnership to bring it to life.
For over two decades, the heartbeat of Stage for Kids Global (SFKG) has been simple: inspiration through drama, art, character development, and soft skills programs. Today, that heartbeat is evolving into something deeper, more purposeful, and far-reaching.
For 24 years, Stage for Kids—founded and led by Teacher Emil—has stood as a testament to self-reliance. We have operated with a “zero-debt” philosophy: no loans, no debts, and owing no one. Every cent that came in was dedicated to one mission: keeping our programs, events, and educational outreach affordable and reachable for all. We chose to pour our resources back into the children rather than building a corporate safety net.
However, in a changing world, that very independence became our greatest bottleneck. To expand our reach to the communities, organizations, and orphanages that need it most, we realized we must evolve our foundation. We are preparing to formally begin the process of transitioning into an official non-profit: Stage for Kids Intercontinental Limited (Company Limited by Guarantee).
A Message from Teacher Emil
My life’s work has never been just about “running a business.” It is a mission to elevate every “little person” I encounter. My personal values are the engine of this mission; to leave a space better than when I first entered and to cultivate in the hearts and minds of children that they can be brave, be kind, and able to share their voices.
Teaching and developing young people is my passion, love, and life. This is why, this time of struggle is the opportunity to rise up and transition into a charity where our work – my work – continue to elevate children and their carers – families and educators – and instill important values, soft skills, and inspiration to reach beyond the stars. If I can do it, they can too.
With hope, faith, and gratitude,
Teacher Emil Antoan
Opening the Door to Patronage
While our non-profit application and setup process will soon be underway, our mission cannot wait.
We are officially opening the door to Patronage. Through patronage, passionate individuals, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic partners can directly enable us to bring our programs, performances, and character-building workshops to under-resourced organizations, community centers, and orphanages in Singapore and across Southeast Asia.
Message from Teacher Emil
“My life’s work has never been just about ‘running a business.’ It is a mission to elevate every ‘little person’ I encounter—to cultivate in the hearts and minds of children that they can be brave, be kind, and share their voices.
While we begin the formal transition into a non-profit entity, we are stepping forward with Patronage so our work does not stall. Patronage allows us to immediately bring our programs directly to children and carers who need them most—especially in orphanages and underserved communities across Southeast Asia.
I am calling upon our community and new allies: join us as a Patron. Let’s make the world a better place, one little person at a time.”
